"I lived in a town with a lot of air pollution, so bad that some days you could not go outside.

I also had chemical toxicity in 2001 and had done some things to remove it, so I thought! When I did my first detoxification treatment, my water turned orange right away and then went to a dark green and dark brown. When I lifted my foot out of the bath water 15 minutes into it, my foot was covered in green and brown slime and muck! My water smelled horrible, like perm solution and sulfur!

After several treatments, my water is starting to get cleaner and I do not have 1 - 2 inches of what I called "pond scum" on the top of my water anymore. I do the treatment at least once a week if not more because I am a hair salon owner. Even though my salon uses all organic things, it is still good for me to continue to make sure that the products do not build back up into my system. It feels really good after a long day of standing on my feet and some days, if I have a 45 minute break, I will sit down and soak my feet in the footbath and then I am ready to go back into the salon and work because it seems to remove the swelling and pain.

I have also started to do the IonSpa treatments on my clients. They LOVE it and everyone's water looks different. I have seen all orange water with orange foam, I have seen blue water, green water with green foam, brown water with brown foam, I have even seen oil on top of the water....it never ceases to amaze me that everyone's water looks and smells different

"I heard about the detox footbath from my hair dresser so my husband & I bought a package from her.

I grew up on a hay farm and was exposed to a lot of hay mold growing up. Recently with our floods in Iowa, I was again exposed to a lot of mold as we fixed the water damage to our house. My hair dresser and I are both very allergic to mold. The 3rd treatment my water turned blue, like blue jeans. Previously the water had been brown or green with a lot of thick foam on the top of the water.

She made the comment that my water smelled like mushrooms and I too noticed that. Soon both of us were sneezing and our eyes were swelling and getting itchy. "My wife bought the ionic footbath for her business. I was skeptical at first so I ran the machine with the water and salt without any feet in it to see if the water would change colors. It stayed clear! So then I ran it with my feet in it and the water turned brown and green with orange foam within 10 minutes! I had almost 3 inches of foamy scum on the top of the water. I was still not sure if my feet were just "dirty" so I ran the machine again without any feet in it and the water was once again clear.

So a few days later, I did the detox session right after I took a shower to see how the water would look. It was actually worse! This time the water was really dark and smelled like metal. My wife said it smelled like metal because I had put nails in my mouth to hold them, when I was building our fence this past summer. Come to think of it, the water did smell a bit like a box of metal nails!

"I got a detox footbath treatment from my Reflexologist one day. I was so surprised at the outcome! I am a farmer with many sore joints from being in the tractor and combine all day. I had been changing the oil in my combine to get ready for the fall harvest when I spilled the oil all down the front of myself. Three days later when I got a treatment, the water had oil floating on the top of it and my wife said it smelled like the combine shed in the room from the water. My Reflexologist agreed that there was oil on the top of the water and that the water smelled like a mechanic shop! You could actually see a rainbow of oil on the water just like after the rain when you can see oil rainbows on the street puddles.

"I am 14 and my mom made me put my feet in the IonSpa one day after foot ball. I had injured my foot, the same one that was ran over by a car years earlier. My water turned very orange, especially around the injured foot. The other side was not as orange. It was weird that you could actually see which foot was injured and which one was not. When the machine was done, my foot felt a lot better and I could bend it and it did not seem as swollen. I will use it again if I ever get another foot injury or any kind of injury at that!"
